Meet The Vet

Dr. Ashley Tharp owns and runs Four Paws Animal Hospital. Raised in Alpharetta, Georgia, she graduated from Milton High School before attending Emory University. She went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Today, she makes her home in North Fulton with her husband, their three children, and a houseful of pets.

Dr. Tharp is passionate about animal rescue. She actively supports Angels Among Us Pet Rescue and serves as a foster parent for Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Rescue and Trust. Over the years, she has offered veterinary care to hundreds of dogs and cats rescued through these organizations.

Cavalier King Charles Spaniels hold a special place in her heart, and she often brings one of her own along to work each day. When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Tharp enjoys spending time with her dogs, taking family trips to Disney World, cheering on UGA football, and making memories with family and friends.
